Edward has worked as a journalist at Athavan News, a television presenter at Athavan TV.
He is attached to Verité Research’s Media Team. Edward is interested in media polarization, disinformation, and local and international politics.
Edward followed philosophical studies at St. Xavier’s Major Seminary in Jaffna and obtained a diploma in journalism from the University of Colombo. Edward is currently pursuing a Masters in Mass Communication at the Asia e University Malaysia.
Nishan is one of Sri Lanka’s most respected and influential economists, with extensive academic, public policy and private sector experience.
Deepanjalie has extensive experience in media ethics, media behaviour as well as media and women.
Chrishari de Alwis Gunasekare has previously worked as a sub-editor for The Morning newspaper and a programme coordinator for the Sri Lanka Press Institute.
Jonathan undertakes both research and managerial responsibilities within the media team.
