Jonathan Cruse

Jonathan undertakes both research and managerial responsibilities within the media team. He holds an LLB from the University of London and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Colombo. He also completed part of his BA studies at the Technische Universität of Dresden. 

Jonathan’s primary duties involve conducting research, writing, and curating social media content for FactCheck.lk as well as for the organisation’s political and media analysis.

Additionally, his research encompasses several thematic areas, including ethical journalism, language and media polarisation, information disorder and ethno-religious violence in Sri Lanka.
