Buwanajee Coralage

Buwanajee is engaged in the research outputs of key online platforms lead by the Media and Political Research team; including Ethic Eye, an online platform that flags ethical violations in the Sinhala media as well as FactCheck.lk, a platform curated to counter misinformation and fact-check statements made by high level decision makers in the country.

She is also involved in administrative work related to other platforms maintained by Verité Media, namely The Macro Media Political Analysis and The Divide.

Additionally, her research encompasses several thematic areas, including ethical journalism, language and media polarisation, information disorder and Media Ownership in Sri Lanka

She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in International Relations from the University of London in 2024, and is currently pursuing executive credentials in Leadership and Public Policy at BALPP and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language from the Coventry Metropolitan University.
